The calendar said fall began on Friday September 22 but recent temperatures have extended summer well into October, however a change is on the way.

More fall-like conditions are forecast to move into the area starting Sunday night. The National Weather Service (NWS) says a cold front will move in late Sunday and could bring patchy frost both Monday and Tuesday nights. Lows on Sunday night are forecast for upper 40s dropping to mid 30s Monday night and Tuesday night. Highs Monday mid 50s and upper 50s Tuesday.
