Mostly cloudy skies and at least a 50% chance of rain for a majority of the days will be the weather story to close out May.
After reaching a high of 80 for the first time this year on Friday, temperatures this week are forecast to be in the middle to lower 70s over the next several days. Rain, along with some thunderstorms, are possible all the way through the next six days.
The good news is the rain should not be heavy enough over any given time for flood watches to be considered issued, but heavy downpours are possible any day this week.
