On Friday, September 6, 2013, at approximately 10:00 PM, Boone Police responded to a report of two sexual assaults at a Queen Street residence. Two suspects allegedly assaulted two females. As a result of the investigation, the following individuals have been arrested.

22 years-of-age
Assembly Drive, Boone, NC
Two counts of 2nd Degree Forcible Rape
Two counts of Assault by Strangulation
$175,000 Secured Bond
Jose Antonio Cuevas
21 years-of-age
Queen Street, Boone, NC
Two counts of 2nd Degree Forcible Rape
$150,000 Secured Bond
Both men have an October 29, 2013, court date.
The assailants were acquaintances of the victims.
