Boone Police have charged John McMillan Hodge, age 20, of Boone, NC with one count of felony financial card theft, one count of misdemeanor financial card fraud and one count of misdemeanor larceny. Mr. Hodge is alleged to have stolen the victim’s wallet, containing cash and financial cards, from Deer Valley Racquet Club.
Mr. Hodge is then alleged to have used the financial card to make a fraudulent purchase. Mr. Hodge was arrested by the Boone Police Department and taken before a Watauga County Magistrate, where he was placed under a $3,000 secured bond and assigned a court date of December 18th, 2012.
