High Country residents, and visitors, are invited to join Santa Claus and all your friends & neighbors Saturday December 6, 2014 for the annual Boone Christmas Parade at 11:00am.
Parade information for those watching and a part of the parade:
•The parade route is from Horn in the West Drive down King Street west to Poplar Grove Extension (parking area for Watauga County Health Department).
•NO PARKING is allowed in the staging area – Horn in the West parking lot.
•Floats and large vehicles should approach the staging area via Horn in the West Drive off of Highway 321 (the road beside Hampton Funeral Service).
•Individuals dropping off parade participants should approach the staging area (Horn in the West parking lot) via Horn in the West Drive off Highway 321 or Oak Street off Highway 421.
•Horn in the West Drive (off Highway 421) and Horn Avenue (off Highway 105) will be closed to traffic beginning 3 HOURS prior to parade time.
