UPDATE Sunday March 26 – The Beech Mountain Police Department says that Sky Porter has been found. Porter was found Sunday morning at about 8:15 by a bystander who saw him in a parking area and recognized him from the news media and flyers, the department says. The bystander called 911 and Mr. Porter is now receiving medical attention.
The Beech Mountain Police Department is asking for assistance in locating Sky Porter.
Porter, white male about 6'4″ tall – 180 lbs – slim build, was last seen on Monday, March 20 at around 5:00 pm on Beech Mountain. He is considered missing and endangered. If you know of his whereabouts contact the Beech Mountain Police Department at 828-387-2342.
