Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock with flagging operations at Norwood Circle and various traffic shifts from Ransom St to Possum Hollow.
Paving crews in the area of Fairway and Kellwood today. Expect delays in the area.
1:20 pm – Accident on 194 near the NCDOT offices. Expect delays in that area.
Wednesday April 20
Watauga Schools have an early release day on Wednesday. Students in the K-8 at noon, WHS 1pm. Expect extra mid-day traffic.
Road construction Hwy 321 north from Hwy 421 split at Skateworld. Expect delays.
Thursday April 21
Construction operations continue today on 321 in Blowing Rock with flagging operations near Norwood Circle. Alternating traffic shifts from Ransom St to Possum Hollow are being utilized for various operations including curb & gutter and sidewalk preparation/installation.
1:48pm – truck reportedly stuck in the S curve on 194 between Valle Crucis & Matney.
2:41pm – 194 is back open.
Friday April 22
Due to rainy weather, limited construction ops are currently scheduled today on 321 in Blowing Rock.
