Additional Arrest Made In May Parking Lot Stabbing In Boone

On Wednesday, May 4, 2017, at approximately 2:28 AM, Boone police responded to 219 Crossing Way for a fight in the parking lot involving several persons.  Shortly after arriving on-scene, officers were notified by Watauga Medical Center that a subject had been brought to the emergency department suffering from a stab wound.  The victim, Teh’Ron Fuller, 21 years-of-age, reported that he had been stabbed in the parking lot of 219 Crossing Way.  Mr. Fuller is an Appalachian State University student.  Mr. Fuller is currently at Wake Forest Baptists Medical Center receiving treatment for his injuries.

 As a result of the investigation and after consultation with the District Attorney, the following individuals have been arrested and charged with the offenses listed.

Ke’monte Tayvon Hayes, 19 years-of-age 

Fallview Lane, Boone, NC

Misdemeanor Assault and Battery

$1,500 secured bond pending a July 21, 2017, appearance in Watauga District Court.

Isaiah Diontae Lewis, 21 years-of-age

Fallview Lane, Boone, NC

Misdemeanor Assault and Battery

$1,500 secured bond pending a July 21, 2017, appearance in Watauga District Court.

Marlin Lamar Johnson, 21 years-of-age

Rock Haven Road, Carrboro, NC

Misdemeanor Assault and Battery

$1,500 secured bond pending a July 21, 2017, appearance in Watauga District Court.

Warrants for three additional subjects have been obtained but have not been served.  Arrestee information will be released once the warrants have been served and release conditions assigned.
