Tuesday morning (October 16, 2012) around 10am, lanes of US Hwy 421 in the area of New Market Center/ Hardees will be closed, right in front of Lowe's Foods (between Best Western and the intersection of 421 & 194). The road closure is expected to last between 5-20 minutes, while Blue Ridge Electric Membership Corporation performs necessary work in the area. Traffic may use New Market Blvd and Hwy 194 to detour around the closure.
