The annual High Country Chapter of Military Officers Association of America Veterans Day ceremony will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Boone Mall beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The public is encouraged to attend this free program to show their support for our local veterans and to express gratitude for their sacrifices. The Watauga Community Band will be performing beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by various guest speakers. Information will be available and donations will be accepted for the Boone/Watauga County Veterans Memorial. Join the Town of Boone in paying tribute to these distinguished men and women in an event that is sure to be remembered by all.
